The Fairy King is the King of fairies, husband of the Fairy Queen and father of Bracken and four daughters, as The Fairy King he commanded the male fairies during his time of reign. And during that time, the Fairy Queen has assigned astrids to guard the Fairy King. But one fateful night, the Demon King Gorgrog attacked the fairies and 'killed' the Fairy King. This happened not because fairies are weak, but because of the personalities of these astrids: arrogance. Because of his death, the male fairies disappeared and that's how the imps were born. He was mentioned many times in the fourth and fifth books and in the fifth book, he was in a chain on Gorgrog. With the death of the demon king, the Fairy King is recuperating after these events in Book Five. In the first book of the Dragonwatch series, The fairy king protects Seth from dragons chasing him by temporarily letting him enter the fairy realm and then teleporting him to fable haven, when he asks for his help at the Wyrmroost fairy queens shrine. Furthermore, he also states that he is eternally gratefully and owes Kendra and Seth many favors for killing the Demon King and freeing him.
